Brined and Pan-Seared Salmon

Very simple method that works surprisingly well
Serves 6
  1. In a large bowl, dissolve salt into water with a ratio of 1 tbsp salt to 1 cup of water. Add the salmon and let it soak for ~15 minutes.
  2. Take salmon out, pat dry, and add to a cold dry pan
  3. Set pan to medium-high and cook for around 6 minutes per side
